Formation of CA.P^S Athletics

CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is founded by four current educators and athletic coaches. CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is a proud 501(c)(3) company. They recognize the need to better connect with the community’s youth and understand that athletics serve as an effective bridge to keep children engaged. They developed a program that not only support the youth, but also provides outreach to their families. The founding members of CA.P^S work together to establish the pillars that form the foundation of the athletic programs. As a result, CA.P^S is more than just athletics; it is athletics with a purpose.

Mission Statement

CA.P^S Athletics Inc. is a community outreach program that focuses on engaging and improving the lives of youths and their families through our athletic program. Our organization is called CA.P^S, an acronym representing Courage, Ascension, Perseverance, and Strength. These four words are the foundational pillars of our program. The mission of CA.P^S is to use athletics to engage and develop the youth mindset so that they are filled with courage, ready to ascend to their fullest potential, develop perseverance in the face of obstacles, and exude the strength necessary to succeed in life. CA.P^S is located in the Sarasota/Manatee area of Florida and will serve the community youth between the ages of 7-14 years. CA.P^S is organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes.

CA.P^S Athletics is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing positive and encouraging experiences for your community youth. CA.P^S is short for Courage, Ascension, Perseverance, and Strength, as those four values form the foundation of our organization. We utilize youth athletics to not only teach athletic skills but to teach life skills that are intended to increase the aforementioned cores within each child.
